I have such a soft spot for this bloody Orange Cat. I think it’s weird being 24, living at home, part time employed and choosing to watch another film from another franchise you watched as a child, a kind of comfort. It’s not weird to engage with a movie, but it’s certainly surprising when you feel touched by it. A tale of existentialism, legacy, anxiety and the importance of Gazpacho, I genuinely really liked it.

He loved this one. He laughed from the beginning, which is good. I think I was a bit afraid of showing Kaufman. He might have hated it. I introduced him as ‘the Nolan of artsy people’ (and I stand by it) so I hoped that this maths degree man would enjoy it.
Pattern: he likes things with heart. I mean, most of us do. But he loved about time, and he loved this. He loves little miss sunshine. He’s a man who’s fond of warmth, and I’m fond of him.
