I don’t think I can say it’s just recency bias anymore. I absolutely love this film. It’s phenomenal.
I previously had a little issue with the pacing of the first two acts, but on this watch, that didn’t seem to be the case. In fact, I don’t think I can point out any issues I have with the film. I guess other than that I would have loved if the already incredible battle in the third act was ~10 minutes longer.…

I liked it, but I was hoping for more.
The way certain reveals are played out didn’t work very well, and I think there needed to be a little more intrigue at times. Overall I still really enjoyed it, and it had my attention.

A great, solid horror/thriller. It tackles ideas about religion, but does it a mostly inoffensive way, unlike most religious horror - in that way it’s similar to Frailty.
I am a proud Christian, and the two main girls are Mormon, but there are many similarities. There are some things the film did or said that I didn’t like, but overall it was dealt with well.
