Hard Truths 2024
I didn't want to put myself into a 'downer' by watching this so I've avoided it for a while. Turns out today was the day for a bit of a 'bummer' so I pressed play.
It's a good job that I did as it's probably one of the best portrayals of modern times that I've seen in quite some time. I saw a lot of people that I know (myself included) in these characters so the laughter and tears portrayed throughout resonated strongly.

Back to Black 2024
Pretty standard music biopic. Doesn't have the scope that Amy Winehouse's life/career had but all the cast try mightily with their parts.
They do a Lord of the Rings style thing to make Eddie Marsden look taller too, which is a bit hit and miss.
All a bit flat and sad.
