This movie goes so much harder than it has any right to go. The animation is genuinely really good, especially the background art is really beautiful. The slapstick is also really well made, and fluidly animated. This feels like a classic Disney short, made into a movie, but with actual thought and care to genuinely craft a well made story around the slapstick.
The highlight is Pete, who I honestly think is one of the best Disney movie villains ever…

Honestly, this is one of the very few movies where I genuinely think the Dutch dub is superior to the original. I normally watch American animated movies in their intended language. But this is the exception.
