Fassbender and Blanchett’s chemistry is awesome in Black Bag making for a tight 90 minute spy thriller.

Great ensemble cast and I gotta shoutout the costume department. Everyone was dressed to the nines.

If you thought Fassbender’s character in David Fincher’s The Killer was flat, George Woodhouse makes that guy look like a comedian.

My favorite film of the year so far

I did not expect to like Mickey 17 this much! Coming off of Parasite I wanted to see what Bong could cook up and I ended up liking it and laughing quite a bit.

    Robert Pattinson was absolutely cooking

The plague being used for the way that Wisborg descends into panic upon Orlok’s arrival is such a clever, smart thing to do from Eggers. It works really well upon a second viewing.

That final shot of the sun over Wisborg and the ghost carriage really stuck out this time.

I still feel the terror amongst the characters upon the second rewatch, and Orlok just as dreadful.

The comedy has aged well and the narrative seems to still hold relevancy 60 years later.

“Gentlemen you can’t fight in here, this is the war room!” That got a laugh!

Peter Sellers put up a triple double in this film.
