it's like the original but beetlejuice is in it from the start and there's way more of the good good afterlife stuff
it's crazy the musical is the best entry into this franchise

i avoided this movie for 37 years and never knew the title character is only in like 10 minutes of it. wild. feels like the movie kinda doesn't do anything most of the time but damn that dinner scene is iconic

love letter to the art of stunts. make it an oscar category already! film plot is so convoluted but gosling is incredible, his chemistry with blunt is off the charts, and waddingham and ATJ are outstanding with the screentime they get. the final act is so fun. the buildup to it can meander at times but it's hard to hate the fun we get in the meantime. also so many shots of a dog biting someone's balls.
