Nosferatu 2024
I am NOT a fan of horror movies so I was very biased going into movie. Mind changed quick and I am baffled that Lily Rose Depp and Bill Skarsgard have acting like that in their bag. Some aspects of the movie were more than a bit disturbing but I was captivated by the movies theme. Probably won’t watch another horror movie for a couple years though…

Initially watched the movie with the mindset that it was just going to be another Hollywood, loose cannon/good cop duo that solves crime in their own hectic way. PLEASANTLY surprised to find out otherwise. Denzel perfectly portrayed the crookedness, yet egotistic nature of Alonzo and really showed why he’s one of the best.

I remember enjoying the first film and was genuinely surprised by the plot twist at the end of the film. However, this sequel had a HIGHLY unrealistic script and blew the heist aspect out of proportion. Who could steal from the mafia, get asked to get it back, then offered a job? Only redeeming quality of the movie was Gerard Butler and his internal conflict with good vs evil after becoming relatively close with the crew. Besides that the movie was all over the place
