a really good movie until it wasnt. super convoluted way of breaking down religion critics and their talking points, but missed the big picture. the “true religion” is faith, not control as grant’s character says. the belief in something or the choice to not believe in something, and they both end in the same space. grant’s character almost asserts himself as the protag’s “god”. But he isnt, because they never believed him. he hardly ever even controlled them. dark haired…
