"Waiting is painful And being waited on is painful
However, whether one is waiting or being waited on
Those who are alone must act"

    With that quote in mind

This should be required viewing for every college student.

I can't put into words what this movie is about but...

It's this surrealist, borderline nonsensical movie that includes a bar crawl, an outdoor used book store, a musical, bromosexuality, and a group of animated cowboys representing the repressed feelings of a…

I wrote a paper about loss earlier this semester.

In it I described loss as something so incredibly personal yet universal.

We all experience loss and we all deal with it in our own ways

We'll create worlds where we can spend time with them, afraid to move on and forget.

    We all forget that...

I watched this twice and I've been trying to find the words to describe this.

This must have been such a pain to choreograph. But it was worth it. The fly on the wall nature of seeing every aspect of this investigation and the family surrounding it is such a brilliant way to depict this. Other than the world's slowest foot chase in the second episode, the one take camera feels very purposeful. I think with such a short episode…

This was a really solid spy-thriller that, due to its super tight runtime, was just a breeze to watch.

My only gripe is the way Soderbergh shot lights. I get the point. Every light is used to wash out the image and make it hard to view, like something is obscured. When Fassbender figures out the whole thing this astigmatism light effect tapers off, but as someone with Astigmatism, this was more of an annoyance than anything else.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of George Lucas the wise? I thought not. It’s not a tale the Lucas fanboys would tell you. George Lucas was once a great and powerful film director, so great in fact that he inspired a whole plethora of young filmmakers and fanboys. Unfortunately he attempted to create a prequel series to his acclaimed “Star Wars” franchise. His vain effort resulted in some of the worst films the series has seen in last two…
