    Lots of ideas, all of them derivative, undercooked, and with the subtlety of a Tommy Wiseau performance. There’s a grotesque lack of Song Kang-Ho in this picture.

    David Hayter is the real behind-the-scenes superstar for me in this one. That script is somehow coherent and heavy on character interaction, which is true to how Chris Claremont wrote these legendary characters. Mr. Jackman is obviously the breakout star, and this is one of the few times an X-Men movie isn't just a Wolverine movie.

The themes of desire of knowledge transform into lust of creation organically and menacingly. I dug it. Not so much the CGI gore.
