How much you like A Complete Unknown will depend on your love for folk music and Timothée Chalamet. If, like me, you appreciate both, you’ll savor every minute of it.

From the first scene to the last, his growth in the character and the transformation is remarkable. He doesn’t…
Can see the ending from afar, and Renee may seem to overact, but — surprisingly — I connected with the film.
1. Classic Brit writing/ setting, with Christmas scenes like all good films from Working Title.
2. A relatable subplot of an older single reentering the dating scene.
3. An unexpectedly poignant main plot about dealing with grief.
This is what inequality looks like. And this powerful film is the best I’ve seen all year (i.e. in the last 3 weeks)! A masterfully told tale of an 11yo boy navigating his emotional landscape n a time when Taiwan was economically volatile. He sees the divide between the haves and have-nots, learns the unempathetic ways to supremacy, and ultimately discovers the true value of moral values. Every decision makes you who you are. A must-watch!
So tennis, like love, can be a game for three! What an ending!! Oh, one other thing for sure. Every actor Luca has cast in his films in the recent years - they are all so my type.
