Singaporean movies generally have a tendency to express certain morals and values as lessons for their audience to learn. This film did a really good job in doing so about the ideals of familial connections and sacrifice. It was pleasant to see Mark Lee take on a role that doesn’t make him an asshole or funny man for once!
