No wonder this movie was nominated for 7 Golden Globes and 10 Oscars. It seemed to me that everything in it was perfect. Amazing performance by Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. They all merged with their characters.

I never liked movies about love, although La Vie d'Ádele shook me. With its beautifully sorted cast, story and screenplay this movie really creates a whole other view about love. In addition Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos were brilliantly merged with their roles. They both have shown real pain and happiness in their roles. Blue Is the Warmest Color is definitely one of this year's great movies.

The movie is undoubtedly a great drama thanks to the great story, the screenplay and most importantly its cast. On one hand Meryl Streep is such a great actress that the role of Violet Weston couldn't have been played by anyone else. The mood changes that flow through her person is worthy of an Oscar. On the other hand Julia Roberts was never one of a great actresses in my view although her work was absolutely brilliant in August: Osage County.

Jean-Pierre Jeunet has never let me down with any of his films. He, with his visionary and futuristic existence, created Delicatessen as an irony about the world, for the world. Among Amélie, Micmacs and a Very Long Engagement Delicatessen is also a masterpiece. His work can be compared with Woody Allen's. Not because they have the same visions but because they both create movies that one either loves or hates. I believe greatness is shown by this contrast between its viewers.
