I really like the first half of it, the ending feels like the story was not completely told.. really beautiful cinematography, the part when dealing with grief, you ended up just looking at the item and thinking about the person that’s passed.
Beautiful and sweet memories are always there, the way to get over the grief is to live with it, with the song they sang, the picture they took, and the lines they said I guess.
This film makes me wanna cycle next to the sea in a summer day!
Have to touch my face just to feel if I’m still real after this film.. what a journey. Literally at the edge from the beginning till the end. Can see how black swan took the idea from this film, but don’t think anyone can do it the way that Satoshi Kon did.
I felt sick when the film ends, mainly the way of how women getting treated, surprisingly and unsurprisingly, after all these years this is still not changing.

Finally get to watch this film after knowing the news of Miho Nakayama passed away.. I think when some people are not here anymore, the connection and memories of them with us will always remained.
One day we would all became a part of memories of someone, so what we can do is to try to make it good. Sobbing through the end
