thrill: 6/10 (relied too much on silence)
gore: 2/10 (there was one scene with a nail that was alright)
acting: 4/10 (the strangers physicality was good, the main two were ass and constantly having a mog-off) writing: 1/10 (didnt add anything to the franchise, changed the tradmark line, only one good line from the entire movie)
final review: bad, doesnt add any lore or do anything different from the original film, dont waste your money on this.
P.S. THIS FUCKASS KID WAS KICKING KENZIE THE WHOLE MOVIE!!
