The Brutalist 2024
What am I missing? That was, dare I say it, overrated…?
Weird thing is the runtime felt right, perfectly paced ironically. I don’t know, I felt the story didn’t hit as hard, a lot of misfortune left emoted without impact, clearly performed authentically.
Gorgeous cinematography and sound design, but if they story doesn’t do it, the rest suffers.
