A good fun, dumb movie. Anything dealing with the human characters is still a chore to sit through. Funnily enough there is an extended segment we follow one of the monsters with no dialog and yet it's way more gripping and emotionally charged than all the scenes with the human characters. Plenty of big fight and destruction, and when you throw in giant monsters suplexing each others, that peak movie making for me.

I didn't expect this to be a RomCom. I also expected Emily Blunt's character to do some stunts, but it was basically all Ryan Gosling doing the stunts. Anyway, still a fun movie.

Had a lot to live up to with Fury Road, and although not quite as good, it still is an amazing movie. There's still a lot of creativity with their action set pieces and the stunts are as wild as ever. Though it does not have the non-stop action as the previous movie, it's still well worth the watch.
