  Obsolete sense of purpose, played into a jarring combination of tones which just results in the most bizarre way of messaging I've seen in a minute. The quips dont quite juxtapose well with a case as real and grotesque as this. While yes I agree and understand the crux of the reasoning, i cant quite say i value the motive as it fails to come across as anything more than a vanity project for Anna Kendrick.   could've been a better or even a good film if the romance plot line wasn't as integral, or at least altered to the point where it wasn't so fucking stupid with a female lead this terrible.
  Ranbir was solid and soundtrack is brilliant but that's abt it unfortunately

  I'm convinced liking this film correlates to being inbred.

  I've never been dissapointed by a film so much that I had absolutely 0 expectations of.
  I'm appalled and shocked at how offensively bad it really is, its like a filthy golden bag of diarrhea that's been sprayed with cologne.
  I guess atleast it'll serve as cool color grading example for editing students.

  Countless references, namedrops, allegories, idealistic paralleles and everything inbetween couldn't have prepared me for a character like Antonio Montana. A character such brilliantly well written, excellently realised and surprisingly layered to the point of deafening misunderstanding. Deceptively charming and embarrassingly pathetic, he feels authentic in all the ways he needed to be.
