  Pretty cool movie with some Gen X darlings. The format perfectly suits the narrative and the twists and turns make this so good to rewatch. In fact, this was my second time watching it but it’s been so long that I didn’t actually remember the details of events.   This movie was here for a good fun time to showcase lots of bright yellow, David Arquette floating around with his mouth open, and the awkward straddle between the 80s and 90s campy teen shenanigans. Nothing more, nothing less. And if this is what birthed the TV show then I’m all for it.

  What the absolute fuck did I just watch?! Like what a bizarre movie, but also an incredibly fun time. I cannot remember the last time I laughed this much in a movie, nor said “what the fuck?!” out loud. There’s so much to unpack, but damn I wish I could have seen this in the theater.
