I mean, they probably should have called it wolfmen... a good allegory for generactional trauma, though.
I'm an absolute wimp for horror and gore so there were several points where I had to look away. Sadly found it too predictable, cheesy and playing too much into those classic horror tropes. If someone is infected with an unknown disease... idk maybe don't touch them. Maybe run?

Mixed feelings about this, I found so many of the characters so unlikeable. Mr. Keating and Todd carried the whole movie for me and I found their exchanges and all the foreshadowing the most meaningful part of the film. I loved the ending, and how it was shot implying Mr. Keating's alternative perspective on leaving the school. It was a beautiful film, but perhaps a little cheesy/hard for me to relate to posh privileged private school boys. Which is why it's a 4 and not a 5.

Very late to the party on this one.
I love that old hollywood charm, that leans into whimsy and playful humour for the sake of it. This film doesn't take itself too seriously which surprised me given how acclaimed it is. I was glad George had flaws and wasn't this infallable beacon of humanity, though to his token he was wonderfully real and relateable. Mr. Potter being utterly despicable plays the perfect villian... the scurvy lil spider.
