I have a thing for devastating endings and when George left, leaving Yukari with a box containing the key to the storage room where he left behind all the garments he’d ever made, I was DISTRAUGHT. His one good deed after pulling Yukari into that toxic environment was leaving her with a closet full of clothing. The butterfly on the box? Symbolic of her freedom. If ever I could add a soundtrack to this movie, it be Charli xcx’s, girl, so confusing ft Lorde.
