Oh man! This is the best piece of work on depiction of World war 2 struggles. The fact that it had real life characters giving their account of what happened then. It was moving, disturbing, painful and beautiful.
Kinda disappointed that Ranbir decided to sign up for this movie, knowing the way this character will be portrayed. He was one of the talented ones. This movie just felt vile while I was watching it. Even if you look at it as a bunch of men acting on their primal instincts, why specifically treat the women like trash? Literally all the women in this movie had no agency of their own. What a sad depiction of whatever they were trying to portray!
Two and a half stars for the background score and the action sequences.
I loved this scene where Kamarcut reads the letter to Tipu and Suneel and says “Bhaiya apka kaat diya. School wale ladke ne apka bhot ganda wala kaat diya” Laughed so much.
His expressions were the best part of the series for me, wish Nandalal the actor playing it gets recognition.
Rajkumar Rao is hilarious and endearing in every scene. Adarsh is captivating and Dulquer plays the shady grey cop character quite well. Aatmaram is funnily scary.
Loved the children casted as friends too, nannu, jo, Gangaram and all other character artists.
