Sure it was funny but there wasn’t much substance in this one at all. There is no backstory on anyone and why they are the way they are. Ani’s concern to find Vanya suggests real feelings other than simply being a gold digger. At some parts, the shouting wasn’t making sense and was headache-inducing. I wish Ani wasn’t portrayed as a one-dimensional individual.
This movie isn’t what I thought it would be, and I don’t understand all the positive reviews.
