  Disney gets in its own way with this one by 1. adding in a superfluous and historically inaccurate love story and 2. somewhat spectacularly failing the Bechdel test with the same character(s) which they transparently write in an attempt to circumvent criticism of a lack of strong women.   i'm giving this film three stars but the stars are really LOL emojis because wow. Amber Midthunder was great tho, just wish they would've given her a few more punches to land
