  this felt very second term obama chic if that makes any sense. of a more earnest, nerdy, annoying, kinda naive, comfortably centrist era. lowkey some marvel movie vibes in this… like that “be kind!” speech from the grown up goonies kid… gimme a break lol. not surprised that the captain america brothers produced this. 

  that being said! i did think it was mostly v fun and all of joy’s  looks were insanely slay & yass & cunt etc etc v much a fan of her whole vibe

  overall: eh! i’ve had worse times at the movies 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  "There's something sexy about Scrooge McDuck."

  The end scene with everyone dancing on the subway is absolutely wonderful. Like disco itself, it's goofy, ridiculous, even a little dumb, but always fun, always surprisingly lovely.
