It started out like an inspirational tale of the American Dream, but became more sinister as time went on. You can gain “greater success” in the US but at what cost? The racism, sexism, elitism, and religious discrimination is so real and still prevalent today. People will treat you well as long as they feel they have control over you. The micro aggressions and blatant bigotry had me Boiling…. also truly behind every successful man is a greater woman. In every movie I watch, I wonder - is there a man that has made it to the top without cheating, drugs, and anger?
