  YES!!! exactly what i wanted out of this film. bong joon ho doing what he does best and i did like that it was more in the vein of okja with its off kilter humor and overall tone. rpat is delicious and so absurdly talented and amazing but naomie ackie rlly stole the show! idk in stories about classism and how working class ppl are dehumanized, i am always touched when their love and relationships transcends that <3 some moments where i wanted a bit more but would def rewatch and recommend

  rewatchhhh it’s so fascinating how she plays w owen’s world and the layers of it and uses the camera and aspect ratio and pacing and blocking and everything to fuck w our perception. rlly rlly original and inspired filmmaking

  so i saw this movie in 4DX, meaning seats would move, water would be sprayed, etc. i thought this would be a fun little highlight to the action scenes but NO! i knew NO PEACE throughout this entire film. every movement of the characters was punctuated by the shaking of my seat. when they fell, small bumps would jut out from my chair back. mist was sprayed throughout the theater. the sprinklers literally came on every time it rained. small…
