my 6th grade reading book was switched and instead we read the script for this. 10 years later i’m watching it for the first time, understanding the characters i read for. i didn’t expect to like it simply because of the marketing. but i genuinely loved it. it was released at such a great time in history. and i think its obvious that this musical has more to do with society than just being green. i can feel the love that was put into this film and im grateful to have gotten to see it.
