  nicely paced; great acting with not-so-great lines; fell apart in the final act imo. i take this as a view into the effects of chronic lead poisoning in the 20th century. also, did they really shoot the riding scenes without helmets??? i would’ve thought the liability insurance would be prohibitively expensive for that
