    For about 4 months I needed a bunch of medical tests done, including having my blood drawn from multiple spots on my arms. Eventually I explained this story (with more details) to a professor and I said “I felt like I was transpotting with how many pricks I had on my arms.” She did not appreciate that reference! But I loved this movie. It’s an incredibly difficult watch, but poignant nonetheless. Man doesn’t give themselves credit for how strong our minds can be to overcome.

    I can understand why this film did not perform as well as some of Wes Anderson’s other films. It essentially is a story about how the news stories published in the “French Connection” came to be through the lens of the publication’s closing, after the editor dies. Ergo, the film is about reflecting upon what made the topics of the publications noteworthy, something modern press wildly overlooks, to the point where media literacy has been essentially squandered, among other reasons.…
