Crazy Rich Asians 2018
thoroughly enjoyed this movie. it was super funny at times and overall just loved the writing of the entire thing. the directing was super impressive and i oddly really enjoyed the cinematography an incredible amount. it's supposed to be a feel-good movie, so there's not really much after taste to it, but other than that it really was incredible. recommend it deeply to anyone looking for anything that's not incredibly deep.

The History of the Seattle Mariners 2020
When I watched this in 2021, it genuinely changed my life. It made me find wonder in something I found completely boring and inconspicuous before, baseball. It made me fall in love with baseball and eventually made me fall in love with every sport ever. The wacky, the odd, and the directly human are all on display here, and it truly is something that I'll always hold so close to my heart. I probably wouldn't run track if not for this film, and I would still view my life as a boring inconspicuous mess like I thought baseball was before.
