Transformers One 2024
So much better than I expected! As an 80's kid I hold a reverence for Transformers, so I was definitely skeptical going in. I knew they were going to change the origin story. I knew this wasn't going to be the Transformers I grew up with. On the end, I really enjoyed it.

Alien: Romulus 2024
I liked 95% of this film. The story was solid and I enjoyed the callbacks to the other films in the Alien franchise. This was an original story about the Weyland-Yutani's evils, their labor treatment, and their sacrifice of people for corporate gains. The camera work, music cues, and environmental terror are back to the original film's high levels.
