  i feel like the message of this movie was all over the place. as a brown girl, i was hoping to watch a movie where the main lead decides to pick herself at the end of it all even with all of the family pressure and boy pressure. this movie would have been a 5/5 if they had stuck with it being a self love and family movie. that rooftop scene would have hit if she was standing there alone…
