Saw this at an independent theater in New York! It was so fun jamming to led zeppelin with all these 60 yr old white people lol. Great experience overall, but I felt like it dragged in the middle and didn't have much of a cohesive narrative

Uncut Gems 2019
The brilliant chaos of Howard Ratner's new York city gambling escapade leaves you in a trance from start to finish. The movie also has a feeling of authenticity with casting real life new Yorkers and people such as Kevin Garnett, The Weeknd, and people from other smaller roles like the pawn shop owners. It's a meta kind of filmmaking but it blurs that line between reality and fiction and helps to make the world you're watching that much more believable. Overall I loved the film, and would recommend it to anyone.
