wow, wow, wow. i did not go into this expecting to be taken away in it like i was. every single shot is absolutely gorgeous. the emotion nestled in every scene is palpable and tangible. the lack of back in forth in the dialogue between the main leads means their performances rely on body language and maaan neither of them disappointed. this was amazing. more of this please

this really shines the further from reality it gets. the costuming is *chefs kiss* and there are some really fun shots & usage of color. can tend to run itself in circles (which feels intentional but a bit excessive given its runtime) however i'm overall really happy i watched :)

what if we made a thriller about a woman lying about being abused and everybody believing her, to condemn this world we live in where clearly all women are blindly believed about their trauma. i had to tap out of this one halfway through because the portrayal of rape was just too horribly handled.
