Seems like all you have to do at Cannes is flash a psychedelic fanny and call it a metaphor then they’ll just throw awards at you. Might be appealing to millennials who find “adulting” too hard and still think they’re young enough to be edgy, but otherwise this was just ten minutes of self-pitying shite.
