This is such an iconic and scary movie, following Ethan Hawkes psychological journey through trying to make it big again it almost reminds you of Jack Torrance, the villain in the story can be interpreted in so many different forms but the cinematography in this film is so skillfully made it’s definitely worth a watch

I didn’t know what to expect going into this movie, as the levels went deeper and the characters some unbearable kept dropping I got sucked in, this world they created was horrific as the different levels of the story from generations and the horrific implications and the showcase of different types of horror from genuinely scary imagery to human monsters, the symbolism in this film makes it a great watch

I feel so insane after watching it oh my god someone kill me, this movie surpasses Jigsaw and Spiral easy with the pacing focused in on Johns struggle it’s not just any old horror movie you can tell it’s for the fans especially with the cameo at the end it was such a compelling film I was so shocked at some parts even as such a devoted fan there was so much more to add into the story that makes it that much more interesting how it affects the characters lives in future movie (chronologically).
