  This film is the prequel to films like the Conjuring and Annabelle. I have to give it 5 stars for the eerie feeling I still get when I think about this movie. Demon children don’t scare me, but anytime someone takes an old person, or a religious figure, and makes them demonic? Fuck. That. The makeup artist did an amazing job. Scenes where they make The Nun glide across the floor, candles going out in her wake, are what I live for. As always, for the full experience, you have to watch it at night, without lights on.
