The movie didn’t start up strong. The exploration of the relationship between Anora and Vanya was a bit too long, it felt like a never ending montage of them having sex and doing drugs. After the 5th time you see them fucking you start to think “where is this going? When is the actual plot going to start?”

I spent the whole film anticipating “the twist”: that Harry was either not real at all, or that he was someone Adam once knew and died as well. Of all the ways the film could have brought this reveal, the way it did pleasantly surprised me.
