Companion 2025
Surprisingly funny, especially with those wacky meet cute dance scenes. Sophie Thatcher is definitely one of my favourite upcoming actors to watch and has a hypnotic angelic voice I was not necessarily expecting. The film’s main theme has been stuck in my head for weeks now and perfectly encapsulates the movie’s tone and emotional core. Somewhat predictable of course, but the surprisingly grounded characters make up for it.

It's a fun 80's teen flick reminiscent of John Hughes, what more could you want!
Each moment Amanda Peterson is on screen, she showcases all of depth and subtleties of her character thoughts and emotions and how can you not love a young Patrick Dempsey! Besides, that last scene on the lawnmower...COME ON!!! Just an awesome and fun movie with some great moments that turn it from being a total cliché to a genuine story.
Also the movie's theme, Can't Buy Me Love by The Beatles, has been stuck in my head for days and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
