Too silly to even begin to approach this with any kind of historical critique, this is just a fantasy film. However, the decision to continuously throw real historical people, names, cultures in different combinations is bizarre to the point of feeling intentional at times.
Denzel and the Geta actor were good, everyone else was sleepwalking through this. Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal are the two most boring people alive in this movie.
