The Tragedy of Macbeth 2021
Whatever Kathryn Hunter was doing in this kind of eclipses every other performance and made me wish the witches were a more prominent part of Macbeth.
In spite of this, I found this to be a really compelling adaptation with some pretty unique and strikingly beautiful cinematography and an overall atmosphere that makes this feel like a worthwhile venture that manages to stand out from the average Shakespeare adaptation.

Best crime road trip movie of all time??
Why was the 90s actually the best period for female led action movies, like between this and kill bill, it really makes you wonder what studios are doing nowadays. Outside of The Substance, I really can't think of many recent female led films with such rich characters that I genuinely give a shit about.

The greatest cinema experience of my life. Never has a film enthralled me as much as this one. That Sandworm battle sequence alone will stick with me for the rest of my life.
I said it once and I'll say it again. Denis Villeneuve owns the sci-fi genre and once the trilogy is complete, he will look down at his subjects and proclain himself the king of sci-fi!!!!
