I liked this film a lot, although I did go in with some anxieties as to the Hollywood-isation of the story. I think it worked, but as someone who might call themselves a Dylan fan, I can see where some of the fabrications and smudgings are. Come on, watching three films in a month? Who is this man?
I liked this film, which is probably partly because I buy into the whole Wes Anderson schtick, and I respect him sticking to his thing.
So it was good, and there was a moment where I nearly thought of squeezing out a tear. The film is both pretty transparent and pretty opaque; horses for courses; half a dozen of one and nine Chihuahua loads of the other.
