More of a war and gore portrayal than anything else. Wish they added more about what France was like under napoleon than him just getting cucked by josephine. It earned extra star for the random ass face he made at that one table scene w josephine tho. Overall kinda mid and they should’ve played waterloo in the final battle if Ridley Scott had a pair. Disappointing but phoenix did a good job with what he was given.
