Visually, this film is a masterpiece. The surrealism, the shots, the pastel tones. All of it depicted so beautifully, reflecting Lee’s emotions throughout.
After the first chapter of this film I felt that it was merely reducing the experience of being queer to heavy drinking, smoking and heroin use in a horrible Groundhog Day like cycle of isolation.
