As both a twin and someone that enjoys the ridiculousness of Adam Sandler, I think that all copies and streams of this movie should be destroyed.

    This was just…. too far

    The Batman

    ★★★★½

I was shocked at how fresh Reeves’ and Pattinson’s take on Batman was.

This was truly unlike any other Batman movie in terms of its realism and grit. Pointed cinematography, a soothing score sprinkled with some Nirvana, and a well-crafted script deliver a gripping slow burn that paints its characters in an extremely realistic light, illuminating nearly all of the Gotham underworld.

Some of the more intimate scenes between Kravitz and Pattinson are very cringe and I felt like too much time was spent on some insignificant details but all in all it’s a very strong film that never loses its intrigue.

This is truly a revolutionary cinematic masterpiece. One of the most depressing films I’ve ever seen, but in a very important way. Each moment and detail is carefully crafted to create a disjointed reality. Hopkins’ stellar performance and the genius direction of Zeller deepen the emotional impact of the already powerful screenplay.

    Easy 5/5

    Nomadland

    ★★★★½

Nomadland offers a unique depiction of unconventional American life experienced by those seeking peace after a tough life of work and struggle. The cinematography and soundtrack are delicate, yet subtly bold compliments to much deeper messaging. Powerful shots of the American Southwest highlight the beautiful tradition of the Nomad, providing visual support for the existential themes the dialogue presents. As usual, Frances McDormand shines in another character portrayal that represents an antithesis to traditional mainstream roles. The acting of the…
