  I appreciate the subject matter, Emerald’s representation of these men as insecure man-children is funny, and the leading performance from Carey Mulligan is good. It’s unfortunate that the film suffers greatly from odd pacing issues, uninspired production choices and a generally weak ending. Simply left me feeling meh in the end.

  Idk man I was just bored the entire time. Interesting look into a woman discovering her sexuality but by the end I was simply left confused and annoyed at the time I spent watching this

  Were this film to be a romance that depicts the act of sex in a loving, kind and tender way like it can truly be, I could see the experimental elements of this film really shine through and work effectively. But it doesn’t, and it fucking hurts to sit through.
