Lowk wasn’t paying attention this was just background hangover noise but I liked the positive vibes . Also enjoyed the pleasingly prosaic way the Wikipedia plot summary is written:
‘As the wagons clatter contentedly Providence smiles on the faithful, and their shepherds. The seed corn will go in before the winter rains.’
You know when u go to an exhibition at an art gallery and there’s always that one room that u go into and they’re screening some weird shit like this with a bad projector and you don’t gaf about watching it but u have to stay in there and pretend ur interested for a few minutes so u don’t look like an impatient gen z with no attention span
Quite viscerally upsetting film . The two leads are unattractive in a very distressing way ; watching this sometimes made me feel like I would never see anything beautiful again . A slice of a life that really scares me . Dark dark thoughts I don’t want to have
I can’t think of a less engrossing tagline to a movie than ‘The Story of a Plain Girl’ . Like ok great guess I’m not getting hard for this one then
