I’m not sure I watched the same film as many people seem to have. This is not an apolitical film. The sheer VOLUME on the gunshots alone is enough to tell me that. Jesse Plemons lays the politics of the government bare. The sniper scene may show that politics don’t change what a bullet does to you, but that doesn’t mean the movie itself takes no stance.
I enjoyed the film and Cailee Spaeny should be a star. I hope…

The most tense and scared I’ve seen Lexa in a movie we’ve watched together. And we watch a fair amount of horror movies. The movie rips. Great time at the movies.
