  Good family movie, kinda over the whole Whalberg family man kinda thing but decent movie. The kids resent the dad for being who he is but at the climax they like him for being so overprotective but never make peace with it only to drive the story forward so it feels quickly done and incomplete. Money grab over anything. Also hate the sons haircut I wanna punch him

  Max and I walked into the theater 1 hour late and drunk. Don’t know what happens before the “masks” kill some monkey guy and then the son of the monkey goes onto become the hero of the story but it was decent. Felt like there wasn’t a huge resolution at the end of the movie it kinda felt like good guy kills bad guy because good guy is good guy sort of deal. Still drunk typing this so I’ll probably come back and watch the whole movie and review it with a clearer mind.
